Week 33!!!

Week 33

Baby size: A durian fruit...huh?!  

How I feel about being pregnant:  Not much back pain this week!!  Maybe she moved!  Who knows....I can never tell where is or what part I am feeling.  I think I felt hiccups though!  But then again, maybe she just has her daddy's dancing skills and is tapping away in there.  Who knows!  But I feel great this week (minus always being out of breath!).

Symptoms:  Hmm...emotional...that's for sure....

heartburn...check...

cravings...check...

pregnancy brain...check

hot flashes...check

and probably many more!

 Maternity clothes:  My wardrobe is simple...If it was winter...I'd live in pajama pants...however, with summer, the less the better!  I'm obsessed with my Maxi dresses.

Lord help me for posting this...but if I don't post it, I will eventually delete the picture and I'll forget what I looked like pregnant.  So, what the hell, here it goes...  

Stretch marks: Ok, I lied last week..How can you miss them!  haha.  

Food Cravings:  Just my usual....strawberries galore!! oh..and WAFFLES....  

Something I've done to prepare for baby:  Organized Mackenzie's closet!!  Scored a beyond ridiculous deal on linen storage baskets from Target, so that made it much easier!!  I figured out a system and for right now I like it!  When you stock pile diapers and formula, it takes up a lot of space!!  Here are some pics of her closet...although it's not done yet....

don't mind the top of the closet!  That was cleaned out this morning!  haha.....I can't just throw out all my craft stuff!

diapers diapers diapers....there is more in the back there...you just can't see them all!!  Did you know they say you use 2,600 diapers the first year a baby is born?!!?  She has 1,600 so far....so very thankful for all the diapers people have given us!!

Funny moment:   Apparently I make funny noises when I sleep...Brandon has become paranoid apparently and thought something was wrong....nope!  Just me trying to get up outta bed without rolling!  haha.  It's hard work I tell ya!! You strap a volleyball to your bell and try to get up!  It's a challenge!

What I miss:  Wine wine wine....margarita margarita margarita....sleeping comfortably for sure!

What I'm looking forward to:  My shower next weekend!!  Katie and my mom have been working hard on stuff all week long and they won't let me see it!!!  I can't wait to see it all!!  Plus, we get to celebrate Mackenzie!!  No more showers after that one, which is totally sad...I love seeing people so excited over her arrival!  It's so much fun to celebrate her!  So excited!  Can't wait!

Best Moment of the Week:  Finally feeling accomplished when it comes to organizing her dresser and closet...I feel like we have a system and it is practical.  That only took 3 days, but hey!  It's set up!

Oh and this is another good moment from the week!!  I was cleaning out a bin that we had in the closet...It has our old yearbooks, love letters from when we were 17 and were celebrating monthly anniversaries (haha), and random memories that I refuse to throw away.  Any who, I found this book!!  My parents got me this for my 1st communion in 1993!!  I love it as a kid!!  I cleaned it right up and put it on Mackenzie's bookshelf!!  How awesome is that!

Least Favorite Moment of the Week:   There are few, but I think it makes me look hormonal so I will just keep it to myself!  haha.  

For a while now, I have wanted to get rid of the country valences that we had in the living room.  With my color chair, it wasn't really working!!  So, I went shopping at Anna's Linens yesterday...Oh how I love that store...especially with a coupon!!!  Here's a pic...I forgot to take a before pic, so all you can really get is the after!  oops!!  Anyways, we love it!

Week 32

Baby size: a squash!

How I feel about being pregnant:  Now I know why some people wish that it comes to end soon!  haha.   I've had it very easy but I am not a fan of the swollen feet and back aches.  I had terrible back pain this week..although that changed when I slept in a different bed.  But I'm still loving it!

Symptoms:  I could teach Waddling full time....lol.  Backaches, swollen feet, and mood swings.

 Maternity clothes:  Short, simple, and sweet wardrobe!  I love not having tons of choices :)

This is the dress I bought for the showers in Ohio and South Carolina.  I love it!  Plus, I don't look preggo from the front!  hehe :)  

Stretch marks: As long as you don't look in the mirror you can't really see them!!  So don't look in the mirror!

Food Cravings:  Nothing this week...I just like eating!   haha

Something I've done to prepare for baby:  Went to Solon, OH for the baby shower thrown by Nicole and Niki.  Most of my favorite people made it and we had so much fun!!  They showered Mackenzie with love!!  We are beyond grateful to have them in our lives.

Funny moment:   There were tons this week!!  One of my favorites has to be when Sarah and I were talking about Mexican food...Did you know that Indians eat Mexican!?!  haha.  Katie and I getting stuck on a detour and me just crying and her freaking out was another funny moment...looking back on it now....

What I miss:  Sleeping on my belly and not getting up 20 times in the night to pee!!  What in the world!  This is craziness!

What I'm looking forward to:  Finishing up Mackenzie's room!!  I can't wait until its finished and we can just relax and wait until she is here!

Best Moment of the Week:  Seeing everyone I haven't seen in ages.  I love going to Ohio and relaxing...Although it always seems to be constantly busy and tons of running around, I love sitting outside and just catching up with everyone.  

Least Favorite Moment of the Week:   That would be the 11 hour and 9 hour drives we took to get there.  The drive up should have been 9 hours and we were making great timing...Until we got stuck in a 2 hour long detour.  Then the way back just stunk because....well...coming home from vacation always stinks!

Week 31

Baby size: How do we go from cucumber to pineapple?!?!

How I feel about being pregnant:  I think I started waddling!  That's how I feel at least.  But I love to feel her move around and go crazy!  She still hates the iPad.  Whenever I want to feel her, I just play with my iPad on my belly and she kicks it right off!  

Symptoms:  I'm pretty sure waddling qualifies as a symptom.

 Maternity clothes:  Bought a new tank top today and a dress for my showers :)  Hopefully they will be very forgiving in pictures...But I'm pretty sure I'm no longer in the "forgiving" stage.  This girl is making everything snug lately!

Stretch marks: I can get from Greenville to Cleveland now!  Maybe even on up to Canada!  Hahaha...sad :(

Food Cravings:  Just my strawberries.  Although I haven't eaten them today which is totally weird.

Something I've done to prepare for baby:  We washed a bunch of her clothes and we received some gifts this week!!  She got a mobile and her bedding!!  I'm obsessed with the bedding.  Although you can't see the bed skirt because of how high the mattress is currently.  But I LOVE!!  It's all coming together and falling in place!   

We were so blessed by Brandon's Aunt's getting Mackenzie's bedding!! Thank you Peggy, Penny and Stacie!!  We ABSOLUTELY LOVE it!!!!

My mom got Mackenzie some books and these adorable Taggies books!!  

These are the clothes Brandon's mom sent down!!  I'm overwhelmed on how to even organize this stuff!  You can't exactly do it by months!

Funny moment:   My memory sucks....I don't think I have had funny moments this week!  Just me being me!  haha.

What I miss:  Sleeping on my belly!!!!!!!!!!   I have tried sleeping on my sides since December and I still can't get used to it!  It stinks! 

What I'm looking forward to:  Going to OHIO!!!  We leave next Wednesday night!  Can't wait to see my girls!!

Best Moment of the Week:  Well...Today was the last day of work until October when my maternity leave is up!    YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!  AND....I love when Mackenzie gets presents!!  It's so fun to open gifts and see things people get her!!!   She is sooo blessed (so are we!).   

Least Favorite Moment of the Week:   Hmmmm...Brandon had 2 teeth extracted....He was grumpy...which in turn made me extremely grumpy...I don't like when he fights back!  haha.  

End of 30 weeks!! 9 weeks left (hopefully!)

Week 30

Baby size: Cucumber  (this one makes me laugh)

How I feel about being pregnant:  Well, besides the nonstop trips to the bathroom at night and the numbness when I sleep, I'm feeling great...The idea that my belly is going to grow even bigger and that you can gain a pound a week from now until the end is SCARY!!  I'm gonna be HUGE!!  haha.  I'm trying to laugh at it and just go with it, but being a big girl who is very weight conscious already, this makes me nervous.  

Symptoms:  tight back and numbing in my legs when I sleep

 Maternity clothes:  oh lordy....I can't wait to not have to get dressed for work!  My rear is becoming HUGE!  Baggy clothes here I come!

Food Cravings:  Sweet....although the only thing that satisfies that craving is strawberries...I guess it could be worse! 

Something I've done to prepare for baby:  We have pretty much finished Mackenzie's room!  Just odds and ends of stuff is left really!  Here are some photos!  My dad was awesome and redid the mirror that my sister bought 10 years ago at IKEA.  You wouldn't have thought it was a pain, but it took him all week.  I am very appreciative that he did it and love that he does all these little projects for Mackenzie's room!!

Funny moment:   I'm sure there were some this week, but I can't remember.  I think its funny after I go on a hormonal rage over the dumbest things ever....Brandon I'm sure does not find it so funny!!

What I miss:  Having the body (yes, the one I used to hate anyways) that I had!  haha.  Who would have ever thought!!  But mix an expanding belly and a huge @$$ together, and you'll miss your old body too!  haha.  

What I'm looking forward to:  Finishing this week up!!  Last week of school for me!  On the other hand, I still haven't found a long term sub for me and I still haven't filled out the paperwork yet....YIKES!! Time to get my butt in gear (hey, maybe it will get smaller! haha!).

Best Moment of the Week:  When my sister surprised me with the chair that came 6 weeks early!!  Yippee!!!  Best surprise ever!!    Here's the world's greatest chair ever! (It's really a slate color but looks brown in the pictures)

Least Favorite Moment of the Week:   Ummm...let's see....Well, considering all week long I had to come downstairs to go to the bathroom (which is like every 2 hours at night), ripping my pants on Friday (yes...I felt like a tank ass but they weren't even tight!), and then the air conditioning going out yesterday (thank heavens for Brandon getting it fixes ASAP).....I'd say I had a few least favorite moments during the week!!!
